We need to improve collaboration among utility companies across the United States. Superstorms that knock power out for millions are becoming the new normal, and utilities' data is siloed in proprietary systems. Our goal is to, from the bottom up, help implement a national standard for power outage management, ensure that a worker in one state can integrate their training and reporting mechanisms anywhere else in the country to cut down on the property, economic and life loss during major power outages.
